P6 visit to Ballyclare High School

Primary 6 had the opportunity to visit Ballyclare High School for a taster of what life in secondary education involves. After a tuneful welcome from the school Wind Band, followed by words of welcome from the principal, they headed off to the Art department where they did a manga-style ink print.

After Art it was off to the library for a 'book tasting', then to Science to use chromatography to solve a murder mystery and, finally, out to the sports pitches for a PE lesson. What a busy morning!

Thank you to Ballyclare High School for organising this day and also for arranging some very familiar faces (past pupils) to greet us and act as our guides throughout the visit, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
